I want my students to know that learning, gaining knowledge, and skills open doors in life.

community.

Val Evans

Mrs.Val Evans, B.A., B.Ed.

It is said that he who speaks two languages possesses two souls. My passion for languages
inspires me to help others who are exploring their second soul as they acquire a new language.

Mr. Val Ivanov, M.Sc
“It just has happened recently, that the subjects I teach are the least favourable among the students. My
goal is to imitate those few great teachers that I had at my university, whose skills and dedication turned
mathematics and physics into a fabulous adventurous story.”

Zoya Lykova

Mrs. Zoya Lykova, B.A, professional artist.

“Van Gogh said, “If you want to learn how to draw, just draw.” Therefore in my class students are actively involved in processes such as painting still life, origami, clay, oil pastels, stained glass, and collages. These are just some of the areas that are incorporated in my teaching. Students lean best when their emotional needs are met. Every project I prepare, I try to convey emotions through the colour, line and design. I try to open the world of art to the students and help them appreciate it with their own eyes.”

Nina Przulj

Ms. Nina Przulj, B.Sc Honours, B.Ed.

“I strive to engage all students, irrespective of their learning potential, to pursue their professional interests and achieve their goals. I endeavor to help students develop into confident, motivated, and well-rounded individuals and guide a new generation into being productive and responsible members of our society.”

Rodanilla tam

Ms. Rodanilla Tam, B.Com, B.Ed, A.R.C.T., Orff Cert.

Carl Orff once said that “elementary music is never music alone but forms a unity with
movement, dance and speech. It is music that one makes oneself, in which one takes part not
as a listener but as a participant.” The goal of elementary music education is to stimulate the
imagination of the learner through playing, singing, and dancing.

Michael Quick

Mr. Michael Quick, B.A, B.Ed.

"I believe in creating safe and open class that encourages students to share thoughts and ideas. I believe that this enables students to take an active role in the development of their learning. Furthermore, I believe this also helps the students to grow in areas that will help them in their lives after school."

Galyna Volyanska

Mrs. Galyna Volyanska, M.A., B.Ed.

"I feel as though teaching is ten percent inspiration and ninety percent divine call. Without that, the patience, perseverance, and energy that the teaching requires of you would disappear with the shadow of the coming school year in September".
